how to remove stickers and posters on my door wooden cupboard?

I have pasted posters of self-adhesive characters Disney cartoons on my wooden closet. However, these stickers will not come off. I tried to wipe 'em off, but that ruins the Poles wood'd. Also tell me how to get rid of these posters from glass or a mirror .. please. Thank you

First heat them gently with a hairdryer. This will often soften the adhesive often they will peel away. If a residue remains, clean with Goo-Gone. That Goo-Gone live for a couple minutes and let it do its work before wiping.
