i'll be doing a bi-weekly class for elementary age kids.
i may want to explore some art skills but want the kids to have fun and have a craft to take home.
i dont want to do any of the traditional projects ive seen, need some fresh ideas!!
our first classes will focus on winter holidays but i'll take any ideas!
I'm a parent and ANY art project that has a picture of my child in it or their precious hand prints, I can NOT toss!!! Those are the most valuable and sentimental crafts that just reach right in and steal my heart! When I look back on those, I sometimes cry as they always make me think about my precious little angels when they were young.
Handprint Turkeys are sooooo CUTE! Hand print Christmas trees (using green tempera paint) and a simple cut-out photo of my child as a tree orniments are sooooooo treasurable to parents!!!
