Crescent Stamping

what type of coin is this?

I received a coin (mistaken for an American quarter), and have no clue what it actually is. I believe it is middle eastern, as it appears to have Islamic writing on it. On one side is the star and crescent moon centered, with some writing on top and 2006 stamped below. The other side is a has a number 5 inside a pentagram, inside of a 5 pointed star. I've searched online and can't find any images of it.

The 5 Rupees of Pakistan has the star & crescent moon on the obverse & a 5 pointed star on the reverse with a 5 in the middle. I have no idea where you came up with a pentagram on the reverse also, unless it was added by someone. The date is under the star and moon and around the star on the reverse are sprigs. The catalog did not mention what kind of sprigs. value retail .25-.50 cents
