I want to know how I should ask a bartender for Cognac?
Just say: I'm having a (Hennessy Courvosier, etc.) up please! (If that's how you take) Nothing shocks me more, I have seen people succeed on the rocks with coke and other mixers, etc. Even the shoot. Bartenders are used strange requests, their is no harm or embarrassment to say just what the heck are you want. Its better than indecisive customer. If they pay you a shot or in a highball glass, and you prefer a small glass, a request!
