Stic-Permanent Glue is acid-free hamster acceptable?

I have one of these wheels where it kind of looks like a ladder around. Thus, to cover it, I tried to find masking tape could not find, but I also discovered that the overlying paper and is safe. However, without the use of tape or scotch tape my source other than sticking the paper that he would glue. So would be a Glue Stick that says acid-free be safe enough? And the glue stick is made of Avery. There a glue stick that is used by many small children.

If your hamster chews and swallows it, you'll have a hammy dead. Why do not you just buy a wheel without gaps? They sell many of them, and putting tape on it is not good because his feet stuck to the masking tape, and can not chewing sticks, and he can chew through the paper. The best way is to simply buy a wheel without gaps.
