Lots Potential

Whenever I decide to gorge on clif builder bars I seem to have a lot of potential for farting. Why?

What ingredient is primarily causing this to happen? Is it the 20g of protein per serving? What can I eat that will compliment my diet and reduce my potential for farting?

it's probably from the lactose in the bars, which would come from the protein.
