eye out of sheer boredom or bobbing for apples in the water cooler, what might I do to pass the time?

Make paper hats for your friends.
Change the companies incomming message to reflect a massage parlour.
Scavenge for food left behind by co-workers, then lick and leave it for them.
Call friends and family long distance.
