Painters Fine
Posted on Wednesday, December 30th, 2009 at 11:30 amIs it traditional painting died at the age of photoshop?
The idea of the traditional artist toiling in his garret grasp the truth in a picture - this has been lost now that virtually anyone can create and edit existing images or create their own software relatively cheap? Is the paint eating disorder and time? I do not think, but do you think?
I doubt that the paint will collapse under the weight of Photoshop, she survived thanks to the camera that can survive this no problem. The idea that painting is so time makes it more attractive in an era where everything seems to be done by machine or computer, we can say that painting and other media Traditional we refer to our own humanity. (I know that computers and photoshop were made by man ... but you know what I mean.) I think the camera, digital images, Internet and applications like Photoshop could do more difficult for artists who work to prove they can create something more than what can be millions, but that is the essence of a strong artist in all media ... go beyond the easier to simply create an image / object and provide a better idea in the middle that can be done by any random person on a Macbook.
