Plumage Feathers

We have an inseparable fool had enough and gave my wife and they had it cut the Wing Feathers until it can not fly. How long does it take this bird to grow new feathers of the wing?
It will probably take between 2-4 months for the feathers of the wings to push it, assuming that the bird is not as malnourished.
