Ribbon Torrid

I'm helping my friend put together an outfit, and she found this top that she loves

but she doesn't know what to wear as bottoms. Since the ribbon is blue-gray, should she wear a gray skirt or a white skirt? Any suggestions?

Wearing a white skirt would be to much white, you don't want to have one single stretch of color on your body (this makes people look larger and bulkier than what they are). A grey skirt is better but wouldn't be fun as a pink skirt to bring out the floral design or even a blue to bring out the smaller flowers in the design.
