what would a silver ring with blue?

When I take a shower or wash dishes, or nothing to do with water, my ring money turns blue. just curious what could be causing this to happen. it is a ring for real money. it was made to shift from 1964.

Silver tarnishes. A thin layer of silver sulfide forms on the surface of the metal. It can be removed by polishing money, but he will return. Tarnish develops over time from traces of sulfur compounds in the air. With higher concentrations, staining is growing faster: try to put a silver spoon in a hard boiled egg, or put your ring in a plastic bag with a boiled egg. It is possible that your water has a trace of hydrogen sulfide in it, causing the ring of tarnish. Eggs and other foods may contain hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans, and some may know as well, which would accelerate the tarnishing when washing dishes or showering. Lots of silver rings are plated with rhodium or other inert metal to prevent them from tarnishing. A ring from an old coin would probably not have been treated in this way. Tarnish can be useful too. Some jewelry manufacturers and treat the surfaces of silver and copper with a solution containing sulfide tarnish the surface. The tarnish can then be sanded off some parts of the room to create a contrast.
