Round Medallion
Posted on Monday, December 15th, 2008 at 11:37 amI am looking for the meaning behind a pendant medallion with a palm tree and 2 crossed swords on it.?
this medallion is goldtone in color, same shape as a stop sign, has scalloped edges with rounded triangular shapes cut out all along the boarder. The center is solid with a raised Palm Tree, starting at the bottom of the palm tree, are TWO crossed swords, which appear to have the sharp side of the blades turned up. Does anyone know the history of this design, or what it is suppose to represent? Thank you!
I'm not sure what the meaning of it is... but from what you're describing... it sounds like something from Saudi Arabia. My dad got me some earrings with the same description.
