Shells Crafting
Posted on Friday, July 23rd, 2010 at 3:42 amHow can I get Sea Shells to stick to a fake wreath. I think Hot Glue will just peel off.?
I am doing a contest at work where we have to make a wreath with a team. Since we are near the ocean I though a wreath covered in sea shells would be nice. Since the surface of the shells is smooth because they came from a craft store I don't think hot glue will make them stick. Is there any kind of craft glue I can get from a local craft store that will be strong enought to make the shells stick to the plastic wreath? Thanks!
Try a glue called E-6000; available at craft stores and Wal-Mart; I use it to attach rhinestones to costumes for my daughter all the time; it will hold anything; squeeze a little glue onto a disposable container; use a toothpick to dab glue onto the shell; allow to dry over night
