The classic has 76GB more capacity than the nano as well as a screen that is one half inch bigger than the nano.
Why is it only $100 dollars more?
It is all about convenience and how mobile you want your ipod to be. If you want something really small to work out with or whatever. As a matter of fact the 80 gb ipod video is only about 100 dollars or so more than the 30 gb. You may as well get the largest gb and add all the movies, videos, and music that you want. An 80 gb ipod will hold everything you would need.
