Badge Minit
Posted in Ribbons | No Comments »Any hints or suggestions on how to make my Badge-a-Minit work best?
I just bought a 2 1/4" Badge-a-Minit kit and would like to make sure I don't waste too many button parts. How do I make sure the plastic cover seals correctly?
Our elementary school had an automatic Badge-a-MInit machine.
We had the same complaint. What we found out from the Company (and we were embarrassed to find it was printed in the owners manual as well) was that you had to wait at least 5 full seconds before you open the door and remove the button.
The directions read:
"WAIT FIVE FULL SECONDS before lifting the lid to eject your finished button. This time allows the motor to slow down, come to a stop on its own, and allows for the best operational results. It may seem like a long time, but opening the lid too soon will wear the motor out, which will lead to repairs and time without your machine."
It takes a lot of patience to force yourself to wait a whole 5 seconds...but it makes a huge difference in the amount of errors.
This should do the trick!
