I work as a college counselor. Today a young boy brought at least one bottle a cloudy liquid, clear. But the bottle was all extremely thin glass, rounded at the ends (Uncapped), the size of a pen cap. A child has a broken open and poured on a cloth hat. Some boys began to inhale it (pretending not to know what it was), and when they refused kid they threw him in the face. Now he has second degree burns, but we can not have caused the child to recognize that the substance is. Some students say it is liquid meth and it is sold in our area. Has anyone heard of this. Later I was able to find shards of glass from a vial and a piece was coated with a white powder. The piece of felt with the substance ended up in my office and I had a headache, difficulty breathing, burning sensation in my throat and palpitations since. Does anyone know of methamphetamine being distributed this way? I appreciate your help!
When you smoke meth, you use a pip that is made of thin glass is blown with a pipe bubble on the end that has a small hole in it. When methamphetamine is smoked, you heat the bottom of the PIP and a little "rotisseriate" it (like moving the bubble from left to right so that it does not burn an area of meth). At this point methamphetamine becomes really liquid, then from it cools it leaves a white residue in the bubble. If this is the methamphetamine I could not see him giving you the effects simply by having in the same room with you even if you touched it. Maybe it's just psycosematic (sp?). But overall, it does not look anything like the methamphetamine.
