whats the best color choice for the walls of my kitchen/living room?

we are getting a black and white kitchen (white cabinets black countertop) and have light grey tiles on the floor and whitish grey tiles on the kitchen walls. we're pretty much working with a blank slate, however the couch for the living room is a Navy Blue. the kitchen has an opening to the living room in such a way that you can see into the living room when entering the kitchen.

Light Yellow, Light Brown or Baby Blue or burgendy
