I have 3 GH II xbox360 controllers that have been working fine for the past year, but recently my friend brought over GH III, and at first all the guitars were working fine in multiplayer. However, now when we try multiplayer, one of the controllers will consistently be fine, where as the other 2 controllers will have a malfunctioning green button. This happens both on GH II and GH III
More than likely the green button has had a fair beating. It could be that the green button tab is loose, or the rubber under the button is skewed or it fell off. My suggestion is take off the cover to the guitar and check all the buttons. Same thing has happened with me with other controllers and its always the same thing. The little rubber piece holding the button and the contact together has come loose, is skewed, or fell off. Hope thats the problem, if its not that then the button is broken.
