Im interested to sell my card collection on ebay sports relic. Should I sell it as a "jackpot" or sell it alone. I have about 40 cards of thanks Total
You better do a "completed listings" search on each card to determine how they sell and at what price. Usually items that are sold in lots do not sell for as much as the same items sold separately. Most collectors have a specific card they looking and they do not want the hassle of getting the other 39 cards. Now with that said, there are dealer / collector who will have the lot, choose what they want and then try to sell the remainder at a profit. People who buy the lots are often times looking for a good price so that they can then turn around and sell the items individually at a higher price of the card. Summary: Net sales individually is generally you more money, but requires more work (potentially to send 40 packets vs. 1 - you get the idea). Sale of a lot easier but probably less net you $ $ $. If it were me, I list separately especially if the cards are as rare as you say. Good luck.
