Is is possible to make a glaze for a home made hand ornament made out of clay that is flour and water?

If so how do you do it? I made a ornament to hang on my daughters wall that has her hand imprints on clay I made ( the standard kind that people make out of flour, water, and salt.) but i want to give it a more finished look. Any ideas?

I wouldn't call it a glaze but you could go to an art department in some stores and get some acrylic gloss medium and paint it on.

The gloss medium will dry clear and shiny. You can add layers if you like
