I have a model with Jason 1113F Mercury 10 x 50; Field @ 288ft 1000 yds. Fully coated optics (Jason Empire). How do I know when it was made?
It can be difficult to find answers this question, but here's a little background information for you. The Jason binoculars company was founded in 1947, the 10x50 is one of their models most popular featuring instafocus, this feature is the auto focus binoculars when looking through them. The Jason brand was acquired by Bushnell in 1992 and was interrupted shortly after Jason incorperated some features of their own perspective.
