My room is pink, but its actually based off a french theme. Its Shabby Chic, it has white paneling, an Aubusson rug, a blue-green Louis XIV chair, a armoire, and a beautiful white resin mirror. My closet is huge, and it has a Pale Pink Louis XIV wing chair and long beautiful pale silk tafaetta curtains. It really does look like a super luxe boutique. Its girly, but its really elegant and timeless, and it has odd little touches. In the bathroom I have a bathroom mirror and it has all these iconic images(like marilyn monroe in a white dress) collaged on, and in Hot Pink letters i says, "Mirror, Mirror, on the wall..". And i also have a few beautiful silk accent pillows. So over all, yes, its obviously feminine, but its sophisticated too. I wanted to bring my boyfriend over, but I was wondering if the room would almost intimidate him or make him uncomfortable. So guys, HELP?
when im in a girl's room, i like to see their vanity table and their closet, b/c this way i can tell if my GF is all about fashion and clothes. I dont want to see "princess" and slutty things across a your room, but i dont want to see boy clothes either. also, Make Your bed and limit the amount of dolls and "cute" stuffed animals, because that stuff is for girls under 10. put on some candles and scent the room, dont make the room too humid (maybe turn on the ac or open the window) hide all of your dirty clothes and private clothes (bras, etc.) and put away anything embarrasing away in your closet or under your bed. if you bf looks there, then he is invading your privacy. Keep your bathrrom clean, meaning make sure the mirrors are spotless and there is no razor or pieces of hair lying around, same goes for tissues. you should have 1 garbage wastebasket, and that is where all ur garbage should be ( not on the counter or on the floor or under your bed). Keep your books organized on a shelf. You can bring in a radio and put on some music to prevent awkward moments, and most of all hide away all of your fantasies, such as pics of male models. LOL Gl! im sure u willl do great and boys will naturally feel weird in a girl's room, so get used to it
