While I was Using the console, it just turned off. I turned back, and in 3 seconds, he turned off the flashing red light. What does this mean? What is the lifespan of the PS3 anyway?
If your PS3 attempts to turn, emits a beep and a yellow light and then your Sony PlayStation 3 stops or not lit at all or has no video means YLOD or yellow light of death has occurred! I had the same problem with my console six months, I was able to fix it for $ 15 myself! without sending it to Sony for repairs costly.
