What can I use to remove clear tape from white washing machine / dryer?

I stick transparent tape that is still lefted on my dishwasher door, What can I use to reomve without discoloring my washing machine. the thought of nail polish remover. Thank you?

Hairspray! Or shaving cream, let stand about 5 minutes then gently rub it away. They both work incredibly well.
