Greatest (but not insanely expensive) metric tool set to be found?

I'm looking for a really great metric tool set to get my friend because for whatever reason all the cars he gets are metric and he has no metric tools. Where would I find one that isn't super expensive?

Sears craftsman mechanics set. Simple sets are under 40 bucks.
